How our petition process works:
Step 1
You start by downloading a FREE set of Forms.
Print the forms and have your client fill them out (they are designed
to be consumer-friendly). Review them with your client for completeness and fax or mail to The Bankruptcy Assistant.
Payment is not required in advance.
Step 2
We draft the complete bankruptcy petition (normally within 24 hours)
and compile a list of additional questions and/or summary
analysis to alert you to any potential problems (if applicable). Fax or
e-mail us with instructions on how to proceed and the petition
is finalized.
Step 3If your client is currently recieving a wage
garnishment, two letters will also be drafted for the creditor and
payroll department of the employer to stop garnishment immediately. The
letters will be personalized with your law firm information, ready for
your signature. There is no additional charge for this service, it is
included in the package price.
Step 4When the petition is complete, your law firm information
and Attorney Compensation Statement will be drafted and personalized
with your bar number. Then the entire petition is converted to PDF
format and e-mailed to you for printing. The PDF file is also suitable
for electronic filing, which we will also do for you if it is available
at your local bankruptcy court. After your review, if any page or pages
within the petition needs to be changed, just let us know. We will
immediately revise them and send them to you in a PDF format at no
additional cost.
The only way we can prove the tremendous cost savings to you as a bankruptcy attorney is to offer you our services FREE
for 30 days. This way you can test us out before you decide to use our
services on a regular basis. After our work is completed and you are
satisfied with the quality, we will invoice you. You then have 30
additional days to pay the invoice. You are only required to pay the invoice if you are satisfied with our work, and find that our service has saved you money.
